What is Awesome Items 4 U?
Awesome Items 4 U is a family-owned online store specializing in new, rare, vintage, nostalgic, and collectible items for kids, collectors, gift shoppers, and fans of unique finds. Our shop began as a dream shared between two sisters who loved discovering special treasures to share with others, and today we continue that journey in loving memory of Keri Hartley.
What kind of products do you sell?
We offer a wide variety of collectibles, toys, gifts, and nostalgic finds including Barbie dolls, Star Wars toys, Disney collectibles, diecast vehicles, plush toys, educational games, Starbucks tumblers and ornaments, seasonal décor, vintage toys, and hard-to-find collectibles. New items are added regularly.
How often do you add new items?
We regularly add new products and collectible finds to our store. Because many of our items are unique or one-of-a-kind, inventory can sell quickly. Our “Just Added” section is updated often with fresh finds and newly listed collectibles.
Are your items authentic?
Yes. We strive to sell authentic branded products and collectibles from trusted manufacturers including Mattel, Hasbro, Fisher-Price, LEGO, Disney, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Funko, Melissa & Doug, NZG, Conrad, and many more.
Are your toys and collectibles new or used?
We sell a mix of new, used, vintage, and collectible items. Many of our products are brand new in original packaging, while others may be pre-owned, vintage, retired, or previously displayed collectibles. Because we specialize in unique and hard-to-find items, condition can vary from item to item.
Some products may show shelf wear, package wear, light signs of use, or age-related condition differences. We carefully inspect our items and include condition details and photos whenever possible so you know exactly what to expect before purchasing.
What does “shelf wear” mean?
Shelf wear refers to minor cosmetic wear on packaging caused by storage, age, or retail display. This can include light creases, scuffs, corner wear, sticker residue, or small marks on boxes or plastic packaging. We do our best to clearly describe and photograph any visible wear in our listings.
Do you sell rare or retired collectibles?
Yes. We frequently carry retired, discontinued, vintage, and hard-to-find collectibles that may no longer be available in stores. Inventory changes often, so we recommend checking back regularly for new arrivals and collectible finds.
Are your items limited in quantity?
Yes—many of our products are one-of-a-kind or limited stock. Once an item sells out, it may not be restocked, so if you see something you love, don’t wait!
Do you carefully package collectible items?
Absolutely. We understand how important packaging and condition can be for collectors. We take extra care when packaging dolls, diecast models, fragile items, ornaments, vintage toys, and collectibles to help protect them during shipping.
Are vintage toys tested or inspected?
Whenever possible, vintage toys, electronics, games, and collectible items are visually inspected and condition details are included in the product listing. Because some items are vintage or collectible, they may show normal signs of age or storage wear.
Where do you ship from?
All orders ship from Perry Hall, Maryland.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information when available.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes, we are able to combine most items for shipping when they are purchased together. This helps reduce shipping costs whenever possible and allows us to package your order efficiently and safely.
In some cases, depending on the size, weight, or fragility of the items, your order may need to be shipped in multiple boxes. If that happens, you will receive tracking information for each individual package so you can easily follow your full order from start to finish.
What happens if I enter the wrong shipping address?
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect addresses entered during checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we will refund the original order amount excluding shipping costs.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Do boxes and packaging always arrive perfect?
Many collectible items, especially vintage or older toys, may have minor package wear due to age, storage, or shelf wear. We always try to describe package condition honestly and include detailed photos so customers can review condition before purchasing.
